## Description
_Newly weds_ is a Korean-made life simulation game similar to Princess Maker
series, but focusing exclusively on the life of a married couple. The game
begins with a TV show where the protagonist chooses one of the five possible
spouses, answering questions to determine their attributes, likes and
dislikes, etc. Afterwards the husband selects an apartment to live in, and the
couple moves in.
From that point on the player manages a variety of activities in the couple’s
life, mostly focusing on the wife’s career. The wife has attributes such as
strength, knowledge, beauty, etc., which must be raised in order to
successfully apply for certain jobs. She can also attend evening school and go
on a vacation. The husband can buy presents for the wife to raise her spirit
as well.
The game offers a top-down city exploration mode, where the couple can access
various locations such as shops, restaurants, fortune teller, horse races,
casino, etc. The husband can opt to venture outside alone in the night and
visit bars and other establishments of questionable reputation. He can also
stay at home and have conversation with the wife, as well as engage in more
intimate activities. These are sometimes displayed as seductive images, though
without any explicit nudity. Like in real life, conjugal activities may lead
to childbirth.
