It’s a modern-day, supernatural, open-world RPG, with lots of freedom,
character customization, pet, firearms, and magic.
Made with almost all the old RPG Maker software fusion together and a
customized DirectX-based rendering system.
3D animation and cutscenes. (OK..technically, most of them are actually
rendered into 2D first, to work with RPG Maker, to be honest.)
Lots of procedurally generated content and logical-driven simulation.
Highly customizable gaming experience and mod support.
Certainly, it’s something you’ve never seen before.
## Story
Welcome to our secret society of [redacted]. We are among the most ancient
ones in our line of work.
For a long time, we have witnessed the rise and fall of many others.
The situation is grim, the world almost ended in 2008, 2012, 2015, and 2020.
Some people predict it will keep ending this year, next year, and the year
after.

But, well, even if that’s true, even if the ending is inevitable, it is
tragic, we are still alive.
So, cheer up! We shall carry on.
As long as we stand, the world shall never fall!

[Neolithic]To the End is a modern-day open-world RPG with supernatural
elements.
It’s the first Neolithic game with English localization that comes to Steam
since 2004 when the first game of Neolithic was published in a dark corner of
China.

Comparing to a commercial game, this is more like a memento to the old
golden age of RPG Maker XP (when indie games are really indie; when updates
are free instead of being paid DLCs; when developers update games for years,
even decades instead of abandon projects as soon as it’s no longer profitable;
when games are made with passion instead of money-hunger; And, when RPG Maker
was not used to just make those cheap adult-only games.)
This is NEOLITHIC!
There are many games out there, made with modern tools and more than 1
developer. They are supposed to be better than mine.
But, they are not. Why?

## Mature Content Description
The developers describe the content like this:
Some of my testers told me this game is likely PG-13 from their points of
view. But, as people are living in different countries, some places in the
world may be more conservative than others.

So, I will just list everything that may be “mature content” here:

NEOLITHIC To the End is a game that has content related to cartoon
violence(Because of guns and combat), lots of blood(and tomato juice)

The exact violence/blood level can be checked in the trailers.
In version 20210315, a game option has been added to customize the blood/gore
level. (You can even replace blood with flowers or kittens…)

It also has content related to strong language, alcoholic drinks(Because there
is a bar), and other general mature content.

Being a modern-day supernatural RPG, the game also has content related to
conspiracy theories, radical politics, and atheism.

The game also has content related to LGBT which may not be suitable for
players in certain countries. To be more specific, The player can change their
character’s gender at will during the game progress if they want. And certain
characters may fall in love with the main character without check their
gender.

There is no adult-only sexual content in the game right now.
