## Description

_MoodFood_ is a first-person arena shooter created for the Ludum Dare 42 game
jam. In the game, the player is finds themselves in the Cyber-Pit and must
fight for their life for the entertainment of a mysterious figure called The
Governess. The player’s goal is simple, survive for as long as possible. They
are armed with two weapons, a double-barrelled shotgun, and a chargeable
dashing punch attack that can plough through enemies. Power-ups can be found
scattered around the arena which will aid the player. Attempting to thwart the
player is The Governess’s pets: Armyr, deadly cyber men equipped with powerful
cannons; Glytch, unfortunate individuals who have become lost in VR; and
Spyder, small quadrupeds that leap at the player. As the game progresses,
large columns fall from the ceiling killing anything caught underneath and
reducing the available space in the arena.
