The game is a simple round based survival top-down shooter made in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare #31 competition.
This means that all the art and the gameplay code had to be done by myself from scratch, all during that very tight time-limit.
The given theme was Entire Game on One Screen , so naturally I just made the game top-down with stationary camera.
The premise is that you’ve found yourself in a dark and dangerous downtown district surrounded by the local mobsters who want you dead. Fortunately you’re carrying your trusty Makarov and the criminals have left some guns lying around. Be careful, those weapons have limited ammunition and will run out quickly. The frequency of mobsters spawning and the total amount of them will naturally increase after each round.
The game is not running exactly on the Quake engine as the profile implies.
It’s using FTE QuakeWorld by Spike, one of the most advanced Quake-based engines out there.
