## Description

The _Microsoft Windows 7_ operating system was originally released in several
“editions” including _Home Premium_ , _Ultimate_ and _Professional_. The
installation includes games in addition to the functionalities of the OS. Not
available elsewhere as stand-alone games, they are considered to be part of a
compilation.

Many of the games are reiterations of those included with previous Windows
versions but with graphics, sound and options upgrades similar to the ones in
Windows Vista. Purble Place is the only game targetted for children and was
first introduced in _Vista_. The two _Titans_ , Chess and Mahjong, were
introduced in the _Microsoft Windows Vista Business Edition_. The Internet
games from Windows XP (Backgammon, Checkers and Spades) are back but have been
revamped as well. Hearts, however, is offline only (titled _The Microsoft
Hearts Network_ in _XP_ ).

The games feature sounds appropriate for each and most have separate options
and appearance screens to customize them.
