Memory Leak is a first person virtual reality game for use with the Oculus Rift DK1, but it can be fully played without an Oculus Rift. Memory Leak was created as a team challenge by students at the Savannah College of Art and Design to completely re-imagine classic games from different generations, like Clue, Majora’s Mask, and Pac-Man in a new and exciting VR challenge. Players use sensory based gameplay to collect items, gather evidence, and avoid ghosts. The player has 7 days to explore and solve a randomly generated murder mystery, while facing randomly generated obstacles, puzzles, and enemies that grow stronger with each passing day. This is the first public release of the game and it still has bugs and balancing concerns to be addressed.
