As the name suggests, Mastermind is based on the famous board game of the
same name. The player’s goal is to guess the random secret code in ten tries.
To find the code, the player places pins with different colors or symbols on
the board. Once the row has been filled, the game tells him how many pins have
the correct symbol or color and are in the correct place. It won’t however
tell the player exactly which pins are correct, making it a game of trial and
error.

The game features four difficulty levels starting on easy with a secret code
which consists of four colors/symbols and can only contain one of the seven
available colors to master with five colors/symbols, nine different colors and
the increased challenge that the colors/symbols can be contained more than
once in the secret combination.
