In Marine: Alien Invasion you assume the role of the commander of the security forces on the military science vessel “Osiris”. After the interrupted space jump weird things start to happen. People are lost, strange shapes are being reported lurking in the corridors. It is your duty to investigate what’s happening and defend the ship against deadly alien plague.
The game idea was heavily influenced by the “Aliens” by James Cameron. I always loved the idea of small group of marines defending itself agains the deadly alien horde and now I’m trying to capture the idea in the tower defense game.
Game features:
\- 8 different units. 1 available from the start and 7 unlockable.
\- 8 different enemy units.
\- Over 30 different upgrades to the units
\- 4 different mission types:
* Protect the exit – you have to protect the exit areas
* Protect the marines – You have to survive number of turns
* Protect the civilians – Protect them while they evacuate from the danger zone.
* Reach the exit zone – you have to fight your way through all the level and reach the extraction zone.
