Lost Words is a 2D exploration game that takes place between the pages of a girl’s diary and an imaginary fantasy land. It sees players interacting with different words to solve puzzles and has a strong focus on narrative. The fantasy world sees you using different words to affect your environment, such as burning obstacles out your way using the word ‘fire’, or using ‘hope’ to illuminate your way through dark caverns.
Players explore young, aspiring writer Izzy's diary and piece together the torn pages of her fantasy story, which they then get to live out - taking on the role of a young adventurer desperately questing to prove herself worthy of being a knight.
