LMA Professional Manager 2005
_LMA Professional Manager 2005_ is the PC version of LMA Manager 2005, but it
is beyond a conversion, with a complete redesign. The game is all about in-
depth football management – you have to scout for new players, manage your
team, put tactics to the test and please the management. You can manage some
financial aspects as well, like selling advertising space, but the focus is on
the team management itself.
The 2005 edition covers the 2004/2005 season and includes more countries
(England, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands and
Portugal), leagues and trophies, including The Championship, League 1 and
League 2, under license from the Football League, with all the clubs, players,
badges, and trophies, plus the Conference. You can also build you dream team
in the Fantasy Team game mode. Matches run real-time, and smart, on-the-fly
decisions can turn a game around. The games are shown in full 3-D. For those
who want to move more swiftly, there is a Quickmatch view where the game
progresses quicker, but you still control the tactics. A personal tactic and
style can be assigned to each individual player.
Game commentary is done by Barry Davies, while Gary Lineker and Alan Hansen
take care of match day summaries.
