Life Is Strange: Episode 5 – Polarized
Polarized is the fifth and final episode of the episodic adventure series
Life Is Strange. It is DLC for the first episode Life Is Strange: Episode 1
– Chrysalis along with the second, third and fourth one and it is only
available separately for the PlayStation versions. For the other platforms it
can be acquired through Life Is Strange: Season Pass or Life Is Strange:
Complete Season.
After a major reveal at the end of the previous episode, Max is captured.
During the episode she will need to use her time travelling powers extensively
to travel back into the past to get out of her difficult position. Many of the
previous events are revisited or retold in an entirely different context.
Aside from familiar locations, a part of this episode is set in San Francisco
as one of the many different realities Max experiences. Most of the game
mechanics return, including an extensive stealth section. Unlike the previous
episode the diary is less important, but used in a different way along with
the texting system.
