A specific Japanese game of logic and skill, which is a variation on the theme of Tetris. The PS1 conversion from the slot machine offers a number of different play modes.

### Mechanics

In the production of Taito Corporation the aim is to create the largest possible construction with available colored blocks. Players have to combine them into specific combinations in order to assemble the next floors of their buildings in this way. Depending on the chosen module, the victory can be achieved after the creation of a specific construction, collection of the indicated number of coins or the construction of the largest possible surface area of the city with blocks.

### Game modes

Landmaker allows you to play in several modes. The basic module is moved 1 to 1 from Arcade Mode machines. Maintained in a cartoon style, he throws players into a vortex of duels between specific characters associated with different elements and special powers. The game is about defeating new opponents by building larger structures faster.

Puzzle Mode challenges players to create buildings according to specific guidelines within a set limit. Battle Mode, on the other hand, allows you to engage in a less obliging competition with the competitor, in which the one who wins after collecting one hundred coins first reaches for a special symbol.

### Technical issues

A unique element of Landmaker on PS1 are two different graphic styles used by the creators. The mode transferred from the slot machines has drawing graphics and is maintained in 2D. In turn, two created for the console edition were designed in 3D and present the action in isometric projection.
