Once upon a time there was an orphan monsterfolx by the name of Reinus. They
were young and ambitious and aspired to become a part of the Monster Army, in
order to overcome their origins, defy human oppression, and protect their
fellow monsterfolx.

On their 17th birthday, Reinus became of age to participate in an early
recruitment for exceptionally gifted monsters of which they’d eagerly awaited.

They failed miserably.

Reinus would disappear from the face of the world, and in that time a war
between humankind and monsterfolx would last for 9 years, with the monsters
rising victorious, and KindFolx, the world’s first official cross species city
would be erected thereafter. Under the guise of progression, the city’s ruler
would exploit the humankind and corrupt those around them, perpetuating the
divide between the species.

On this particular day however, a challenger whose sole purpose is to dethrone
those in power will arrive in the city as the sole hope of those who still
believe in equality between the species!
