## Description

_Karnage_ is an action game with an overhead view. The evil wizard Galtana
has kidnapped the knight Derek’s wife, Diana. Derek must now set out to rescue
his beloved, making his way through the hordes of monsters that have invaded
the land.

The game uses a flip-screen perspective. Most screens are populated by
monsters that can be damaged by swinging Derek’s sword, but close contact with
a monster drains Derek’s health. Bushes and trees can be destroyed to reveal
pickups such as health recharges and bombs, which can be set down to damage
monsters and destroy obstacles. Some screens require careful maneuvering, for
example crossing a twisty bridge without brushing against the edge.
