KAL-Online is a Korean MMOcRPG game. Its action takes place in a fantastic, imaginary world full of oriental accents, myths, patterns and so on. Players can freely create their heroes by choosing their gender, body structure, as well as other individual starting parameters (strength, intelligence, etc.), and then start exploring Naraeha’s kingdom and fighting to defend his sovereignty. This vast country, stretching over an area of nearly 60,000 square miles, was invaded by an army of monsters led by Ban-Go, the reborn king of demons, formerly the leader of the rebellious Seotae tribes. You can become one of eight types of character, including Archer (Goong-Soo), Knight (Mu-Sa) and Mage (Joo-Sool-Sa). For each class, the authors have foreseen two development paths. For example, a knight can be developed into a general or a God of Sword, and a magician into a military advisor or an Ascette. Naturally, it depends only on the player how he develops his avatar. All kinds of objects, weapons or armour that we equip him with are also of great importance in his capabilities. As in any self-respecting MMO, here in the game world we find hundreds of items for different purposes, the best ones coming from very strong monsters or are prizes for completing quests.
In KAL-Online our main task is to fight against demonic Ban-Go creatures (PvE), but the creators have allowed us to duel with other people (PvP). As far as demons are concerned, we cannot complain about their small diversity. We have here several kinds of ghosts, half-half-human animals, typical demons from other dimensions and many more similar creatures. In addition to fighting, the game also offers a number of other activities in which you can fulfill yourself. This includes trading in acquired objects, or catching fish, and then selling them or preparing meals from them in an inn. Of course, the basis for this type of games is to share adventures with friends, which is why KAL-Online allows you to join groups and create guilds.
The game has nice, but not the most modern 3D graphics and intuitive interface (built-in chat) modelled on the one we could see in Dark Age of Camelot.
