James Bond: World of Espionage is a free-to-play mobile strategy game developed by Glu Mobile and based on the free-to-play business model.
### Story
James Bond: World of Espionage does not follow the plot of any of the movies. Instead, the developers borrowed some elements from numerous productions in the franchise. The player assumes the role of a leader of an independent intelligence agency and has to compete against similar groups managed by other users. The stake being, of course, the world dominance.
### Mechanics
In James Bond: World of Espionage, the player has to recruit agents, choosing from a vast roster of characters with various biographies, origins, and skills. Naturally, all spies can be trained further to increase their statistics. The player chooses the missions on which their agents will go; if completed successfully, we are awarded with cash, experience points, and our global position rises. Developing the organization itself is necessary as well. We may do so by buying new properties, investing in various new facilities as well as researching new technologies. The last element involves mostly constructing new spy gadgets which are later field-tested by our people during assignments.
### Game modes
James Bond: World of Espionage offers the option to go up against the computer AI, but the essence of the game is the PvP mode, in which teams assembled by the players compete against each other. There is also the possibility of forming alliances (acting as guilds in this game). The results of the competition slowly change the situation in the virtual world.
