## Description
In _Hostradamus_ the player takes the role of Hostradamus, the child of a god
and a human woman. Now he walks on earth to do good deeds and rescue humanity
from evil which manifests as goblins. So he walks freely through the world,
solves object based puzzles and conducts multiple choice dialogues. Because
the camera is fixed behind Hostradamus’ back he is moved by the keyboard keys.
The mouse is used to interact with items and people.
The player also has to look after his health. He has a thirst and hunger meter
which increase during the course of the game and decreasing when he eats or
drinks. If both or one value is above 100 the player uses health; if both are
under 40 he gains health back. With potions he can increase his health
directly. During the course the player meets bunnies which are his allies.
They have the same health system as the player – this means he has to bring
them food and water regularly. They are also regularly attacked by goblins
which take away a chunk of their health.
If the health of Hostradamus or one of the bunnies reaches zero the game ends.
When starting a new game the player has a choice of three playing modes:
Action (focuses on the health balancing with easy puzzles), Logic (harder
puzzles with a more generous time limit) and Normal (a mix between the other
two).
