## Description
_Hero on the Hudson_ is a flash game based on the near disastrous event of
January 15, 2009 when US Airways Flight 1549, piloted by Chesley Sullenberger,
made a controlled landing in the middle of the Hudson River five minutes after
takeoff when the plane hit a flock of birds and disabled both engines, saving
the lives of the passengers and the crews.
The game has the player take command of the airplane in the middle of free
fall, using the right and left arrow keys on the keyboard to level off the
plane. In order to land safely, the player must have the plane parallel with
the river, failure to have it parallel will crash the plane instead. There is
no points system and a altitude counter is present at the top of the screen to
indicate how far the player has to go before reaching the river.
