This is a classic B-movie style FPS game that I made a few years back (before Greenlight was a twinkle in Valve’s eye) that I want to integrate with Steam. It has all kinds of things including floating rafts, portals, traps, moving walkways, anti-gravity and puzzle elements. There are 24 levels in total in three zones. It is quite a challenging game which will give you many hours of enjoyment. Also, I will add the ability to create your own levels which you can share on the Steam Workshop.
**Greenlight**
The game is currently on Steam Greenlight which you can vote on here.
**Features**
* 3D Stereo sound
* 3D anaglyph mode
* 24 levels in storymode
* Original music
**Steam Integration**
The game will have achievements and trading cards.
**Mods**
Possibility to create your own maps and upload them to the Steam workshop.
**Development Facts**
It is made in a custom highly optimized game engine in C++.
**Virtual Reality 3D**
This game includes a red-green anaglyph 3D mode.
As a first person shooter, this is an ideal game to take advantage of modern VR. While I don’t expect it to incorporate VR in the first release it may be converted to VR in later updates as the technology improves.
**How to play**
The aim of the game is to kill all the aliens on each level and find the exit. You must collect all the energy rubies to keep your life support up. Each of the missions contains different types of aliens and their robots. Some fly, some crawl and some stomp. You have two types of weapons. A gun and grenades. With the gun you can aim precisely and kill one alien at a time. With the grenades you can kill lots of aliens at once but you only have so many. (And get out of the way fast in case you blow yourself up!!)
There are puzzle elements including rafts, walkways, anti-gravity and portals.
**A note from the dev**
I have been replaying this game recently and I’m finding it really fun and challenging (if I do say so myself!) It’s taking me a good few hours and I’m not even half way through – and I’m the one who made it! The graphics are kind of stylized and not supposed look ultra-realistic. It’s supposed to look like one of those old TV sci-fi shows where they didn’t have a big budget on special effects and had wacky alien monsters! The feedback I get from testers is that its lots of fun! In fact, some levels are soooo challenging that I’m considering making some of them a bit easier!
