## Description
_Heimspiel 2006: Der Fu ßballmanager_ is practically the same game as Soccer
Manager: The player is still responsible for the financial and athletic
success of his soccer team. To do so he has many options, e.g. sponsorships,
entrance fees, expanding the stadium, lineup and tactics. Optionally the
player can use KI assistants which take over some of his tasks.
One special feature of the game is still the match presentation which is
calculated in real-time and offers a lot of tactical possibilities for the
coach. This time the game uses a new graphics engine. Not only the player’s
match is calculated in real-time, all parallel matches are too. The player has
even the possibility to watch up to four matches at the same time. This is the
first time in this series that the player can also use a text mode where all
actions are written down instead of shown.
The game focuses on easy controls and comprehensibility for inexperienced
soccer manager players. For example the player stats, normally an area with
many statistics, are reduced to three numbers: strength, stamina and morale.
Additionally there are special abilities like mobility or loyalty which can be
improved through a skill tree. In comparison to most similar games this one
uses no calender systems but all changes have an immediate effect. So if a
player wants to expand his stadium he doesn’t have to wait two years until it
is built but has the higher capacity at the moment he pays the fee.
