## Description
_Hamsters_ is a game aimed at children. It is most definitely a game and not
a simulation. Children will learn nothing from this game other that the fact
that hamsters pee and poo.
At the start of the game the player chooses and names their hamster which is
then placed in a play area. The hamster must be kept happy and the happier it
is the more it sings and poops gold coins. To keep the hamster happy the
player must clean up the playpen whenever the hamster poos or pees, keep the
water bottle and food tray stocked, and keep the hamster’s wheel working. They
must, of course, also play with the hamster which means they must tickle it
and brush it regularly.
With enough money the player can buy more hamsters. There are also four mini
games, Hided and Seek, Matching Pairs, Hamster Race and Memory which the
player must play with each hamster. Each game has six levels which get
progressively harder and the reward for completing a level is a love heart,
buying items in the shop requires both gold coins and love hearts.
With enough love hearts and cash the player can unlock special hamster breeds
that “exhibit abnormal behaviour patterns and features”. The ultimate
objective being to unlock the hamster customisation feature which allows the
player to create their own hamster.
