Hallway of Adventures

Hallway of Adventures is a short adventure game developed for the fourth
AGS OROW (one room, one week) competition. The player controls a jester who
has made a long journey in search for fame. He arrives at the Hallway of
Adventures where he wants to find literacy at its finest, books of good and
evil, stories that start wars and stories that will end them.

The game is played in a single side-scrolling screen of the hallway, with a
book at each side. Getting them is no easy task and involves quite an amount
of puzzles, using items, the surroundings and characters such as the
librarian, a dwarf and a tree spirit. Items can be examined, picked up,
combined and used. The inventory pops up near the top of the screen.
