Halcyon is an in-development NES game that is a mash-up of concepts from Blaster Master, Metroid, and Super Metroid.
You have crash-landed on planet Halcyon, and found that the planet is teeming with antagonistic creatures, and remains of an ancient civilization. Can you survive long enough to discover the secrets and history of this stark alien world?
Featuring numerous weapons and power-ups in a non-linear metroidvanis-style world, Halcyon attempts to bring best elements of exploration and challenge back to the original platform that started the metroidvania genre: the Nintendo Entertainment System.
