Ganbare Goemon – Yukihime Kyuushutsu Emaki

The first of five entries in Konami’s “Goemon” series for SNES, and the only one to see a western release. Up to two players control the heroes “Kid Ying” and “Doc Yang” on a humorous adventure across Japan in search of the kidnapped Princess Yuki. The game is a unique mixture of side-scrolling action with adventure elements such as item and gold collection, and features several minigames including a 3D maze and a playable level of Konami’s arcade shoot-em-up “Gradius.” Followed on Super Famicom by “Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shōgun Magginesu.” – werwe
