## Description
_Game & Watch Super Color: Spitball Sparky_ is the first of only two released
games in the seventh series of Game & Watch games published by Nintendo, also
known as the Super Color Screen Series. This series arrived near the end of
the G&W lifespan in Japan, therefor weren’t the success Nintendo expected.
This series, in contrast to the previous, uses vertically (portrait)
orientated screens instead of horizontal (landscape) screens. Despite the
name, the Super Color G&W titles aren’t using colored liquid crystals, but
only use applied colored filters to simulate the presence thereof.
Spitball Sparky ‘s gameplay is similar to the game Breakout, where the player
controls Sparky, a small character with a trumpet shaped mouth, catching and
spitting a ball capable of destroying the on-screen blocks. As one progresses
further into the game, the walls start moving or increase their numbers. One
can control the ball even before it reaches Sparky’s mouth and apply a
different force by adjusting the character’s breath. In Game B, certain blocks
blink and require two hits before they disappear.
