## Description
_Furvilla_ is a virtual economy simulation based upon the furry subculture.
All characters are anthropomorphic animals, including both real-world species
and fantasy creatures such as dragons. Upon account creation, users are given
a choice of villages to move into. Each village is based on a different design
aesthetic, such as the ethereal Quetzal Palace or the medieval Olde Foxbury. A
user’s home village affects which items they can find or craft, as well as
which NPC-run shops they can visit.
After choosing a village, a player must create at least one villager. They can
determine the animal’s name, gender, species, coloration, and career.
Villagers start with one job, and can be trained in up to four. Each job
provides a specific and vital service to the community; for example, warriors
defend their town from attacking creatures. Several jobs depend on the work of
other trades, as well. As another example, doctors cannot craft their medicine
without plants cultivated by herbalists. Through the varied interactions and
dependencies between different jobs, the town’s economy thrives.
Some villager species can only be obtained through potions crafted by
alchemists or purchased with premium currency. Villagers of all species can be
further customized by giving them pets and costumes, the former of which have
special breeding mechanics that allow rarer pets to be obtained. Users can
also use templates provided by the site to create unique villager colorations
called painties, which can be applied to a player’s active villager to give
them a completely one-of-a-kind appearance.
