Eastern Front, Berlin, March 1945, close to the end of the war. The German C-in-C Kurt von Reiternau makes a decisive attack on the hotly contested areas captured by the enemy, allowing several important people and objects to get out of Berlin.
The Allied commander “Friedbis”, euphoric with victory, totally underestimates the precarious situation and leaves only a few soldiers in an area close to the eastern section of the front, which is believed to be secure.
You are the US soldier Peter Smith, taking cover behind a few sandbags in the middle of the enemy attack. The error of judgement of your commanders brings out your courage, daring and determination.
