Frankenstein: The Dismembered Bride is Anuman Interactive’s proposal for fans of casual adventures with hidden objects. The title loosely refers to the themes of Frankenstein’s classic novel by Mary Shelly.
The main character of the game is Brad, who for many months has been looking for his lost wife – Janet. The trail leads to Bavaria. As a result of a car breakdown, the protagonist accidentally finds himself on the estate of Lord Albrecht von Frankenstein. It turns out that Janet was the last of the experiments of a crazy scientist. Admittedly, the woman is still alive, but fragments of her body are located in different corners of the castle. Brad must collect them and discover the way in which he will reunite the body of his beloved.
The basis of the game are hidden object tasks mentioned at the beginning, mini-logical games, as well as puzzles requiring manipulation of elements of the environment and the use of items from equipment. The level of difficulty faced by the player is not too high, and in addition, you can take advantage of facilitations such as zooming in on the screen or highlighting the desired items.
On the technical layer, Frankenstein: The Dismembered Bride is based on solutions from previous Anuman Interactive casual adventures, including Dr. Jekyll And Mr Hyde and A Vampire Romance: Paris Stories. Two-dimensional, hand-drawn backgrounds are enriched with simple animations.
