Football Trivia
In this trivia game about football, you have to make your way through several
(three available) cups before, ultimately, reaching the International Cup. The
gameplay mechanics are similar to those of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Each
cup you compete in is a ladder of 16 steps, each representing a question.
These are divided in four stages, where the last one is called the finals.
Four each successful question you are awarded with fame points. The higher up
on the ladder you are the more fame points you will get. These points can then
be used to unlock more cups.
For each question, you will have four alternatives to choose from. You then
have 30 seconds to pick the right one. If the question is too hard for you,
you can use one of four lifelines. The first three are available right from
the start. These are coin toss, where two of the wrong alternatives are
removed, ask the coach, where you make a call to your former coach, and ask
the fans, where the audience will say what they think. The fourth one is
unlocked after completing two stages. It’s a penalty shootout, where you have
to beat your opponent in best of five. You’ll control both the shooter and the
keeper.
