## Description
In this educational newsgame presented in the editorial section of the _New
York Times_ , players assume the role of a US Food & Drug Administrator,
tasked with inspecting food imports as they enter the United States.
Shipments arrive by ship at several designated points on a map of the United
States. Click on them to inspect them; the player has two inspectors at their
disposal. Each inspection takes a few seconds to complete, all while more
shipments are arriving. Not inspecting a package leads to an alert; the player
can assign an inspector to investigate the alert. Three active alerts ends the
game.
The game has ten levels based on years; the goal of each level is to inspect a
number of goods based on how many were shipped in real life that year,
starting at 2 million (1997) and ending with 9 million (2006). Each inspected
package contains 100,000 units.
