FlySpace is an enthused project spawning from turn based game development and board games like Firefly, and space survival games like FTL, developed to have online multiplayer from the get go.
Mechanics already achieved:
action point system,
multiplayer,
ship management,
ship gear,
crewmen,
crew gear,
job management,
stash vs storage effects,
future improvements if there’s an interest,
expanded mechanics for piracy and smuggling off of other players,
game session missions to compensate for the genre’s many game types
prettied up with more 3d models,
possibly community use of the generator being used behind the scenes creating all the stars, sectors, smuggle lord contract decks, shop decks and dangerous or enforcing star AI ships and more.
