“Embers of the Gods” is a throwback to old school western style role play gaming in which players develop a party of adventurers though exploration, combat, questing, and leveling up.
“Embers” tells a story about a cyclic period in time in which the gods are replaced or ‘renewed’ and the god of nature going rogue signifies and brings about this time of change. Throughout this period, the rogue god sends hordes of his minions to destroy the world. His malevolence has a great influence on the weather, spawning pockets of tropical oasis in normally frigid climates and storms of snow and ice in arid regions.
The world is rich with lore and immersive environments where countless treasures lie undiscovered. Compelling storylines and narratives motivate the player to discover their true destiny which ultimately is to save the world and become gods themselves.
