Dream Club: Complete Edipyon! is an original dating simulator with dexterity and music elements. Japanese company D3 and Tamsoft studio are responsible for creating the title. Established in 1992, the developer has dozens of console productions, most of which have never been published in the West. The originators of Dream Club hoped that the game would attract the attention of fans of the music-management Idolmaster series, as well as classical romantic visual novel. Dream Club did not achieve as high sales results as the competition, but it had at least a few sequels and spin-offs, which appeared on many hardware platforms. Dream Club: Complete Edipyon! on PlayStation 3 is the port of the first part of the series, which was released on Xbox 360 in 2009. The productions have been enriched with all optional DLCs and costumes for the heroines.

The main protagonist of the production is a typical 20-year-old Japanese single, who is unsuccessfully looking for a girl. He spends his last money earned during the day on evening visits to the bar with hostesses. In this type of cherry blossom restaurant, specific for the Country of Cherry Blossom, customers are accompanied by hostesses who entertain them with conversation or singing, and at the same time encourage them to buy more expensive drinks or appetisers. It is worth mentioning that in Japan bars with hostesses are also available in versions aimed at women, hosts and companions are handsome men.

The game consists of several basic elements and dexterity mini-games. The aim of the fun is to get a happy ending and win the heart of one of the 10 hostesses. Each of the heroines has specific reasons for working in the bar, but most of them treat this activity as an extra activity, so during the day they deal with something completely different, being a model, teacher or a beginner actress. In order to fall in love with girls we must first get to know them better. We get to know the details of their lives in a conversation. During them, however, they are not so eager to talk about their secrets. We can change it by buying them more drinks and snacks. Each of them influences the level of the heroine’s intoxication in a different way, which affects their sincerity.

During the meeting, players can also watch a karaoke performance. Then we participate in a mini-game, in which we have to press the appropriate buttons to the rhythm of music, thus accompanying your favorite hostess. Once our relationships have reached the appropriate level, we can invite you to a date in the city (the scenes have also been presented in a manner typical of visual novel games). Visits to the bar and drinks are not free of charge. Every day we have to choose a specific temporary job that will pay the high bills. However, apart from the choice of activities in the menu, we do not have to do any other activities in this respect.

The graphic design of Dream Club was presented in full 3D. The game uses goal-shading technology to give the heroines a typical look known from Japanese anime production. The soundtrack consists of j-poppy works composed for the title. Practically all dialogues have been duplicated by professional actors.
