Dr. Blob’s Organism is a unique shooter game that combines the lightning-quick
gameplay of games like Tempest with the artificial life algorithm of John
Conway’s Life.

In the game, the player must destroy pesky giant one-celled organisms as they
try to escape from a spinning petri dish.

Each level introduces powerups (freeze, lightning, multiguns, etc.) and
special abilities (force field, regeneration, frenzy, etc.) to keep the game
challenging, surprising and exciting right to the mind-mangling last level,
Spore Storm!
