Dice City Roller

## Description

_Dice City Roller_ is a dice game similar to Yacht to a certain extent.
Players receive a set of five dice and they must use them in order to capture
property cards. There are four rounds called “quarters” and each round has
three dice rolls. After every roll, the players can drag the dice onto the
cards. To capture them the dice must form the required combination. The Full
House card requires a set of two matching dice and a set of three matching
dice, Straight is a series of five consecutive dice, in Of a Kind all dice
must have the same value, Exactly is a combination of dice that adds up to
specific number (7, 13, 21 or 27), and All Even/All Odd is self-explanatory.

After rounds one, two and three there is an auction phase where players can
bid on five cards. These cards are different: they either give out extra
points (Scratch, Match and Pick One) or add some sort of advantage in the next
round (Extra Dice and Star Dice). Scratch is a scratch card with six boxes;
five of them are prizes and one hides a gavel. The player gets to keep all the
uncovered points until the gavel is revealed, so if the gavel is clicked
first, then there is no reward. Match has three hidden pairs of matching
scores, the first uncovered pair is the reward. Pick One is more
straightforward as the players can choose only one out of three prize boxes.
Extra Dice adds an extra die in the next round, while Star Dice will entitle
the player to an extra star die. The star die is wild and can be used
anywhere. In the Auction players use the points they earned in the normal
rounds to bid. However, the Auction round can be deactivated before starting
the game.
