Destiny Architect
A little girl is woken by the sound of her younger sister screaming. At first
confused she looks to see what has caused the alarm of her kin, with a few
uncertain glances she realizes that her bed is floating. The bed then sinks
back to its terrestrial mooring. Whenever the girl sleeps in her bed the
frame, mattress, recumbent, sheets and all defy gravity. The concerned family
takes their unusual case to the court of the Regent where it is quickly
recognized that the girl possesses magical powers. Taken in by Master
Architect Paralegus she is trained to become a constructor of great buildings.
Using her abilities to levitate objects she becomes an extremely useful member
of the court. Her ability will lead her to many fascinating construction jobs
throughout the kingdom, as well as many adventures beyond its borders, and
many within herself.
The object of Destiny Architect is to fill in a marked space with variously
shaped bricks. This will usually result in the construction of a tower of some
other building, although more abstract goals are presented. The bricks will
fall on the screen and you can levitate them into the position that you want.
The brick that falls will almost always have a use but sometimes will force
you to make an error. Errors occur when a block is placed so that some of it
is outside the marked area or if you’ve made a space inaccessible. To liven
this up areas that you are not allowed to fill can be added as well as a
variety of bonuses that you can pick up. Items are also available, they
usually remove blocks that are causing errors, or add blocks to hard to reach
places.
Buildings can be accessed through a map of the kingdom which when clicked on
will reveal the level and a bit of story regarding it.
