Deepolis is a browser-based MMO game. The action takes place in the depths of the ocean, and the player receives a submarine with which to fight, perform tasks and explore a large map of the world.
Beginning the game, we choose one of the three factions, which automatically determines the appearance of our character and available means of transport. The game allows open PvP clashes, and the factions are in constant conflict with each other. The player’s task is to survive in a dangerous underwater world, which can only be achieved by gaining new levels, developing a character and buying new equipment and a more efficient boat.
A host of upgrades have been made available to the user, including new turbines, reinforced armour and various warfare agents ranging from torpedoes, depth charges, mines, to sonic guns and lures that distract the attention of enemies.
Graphics with its colors fits into the subject matter of the game and, as for the production intended for browsers, it offers quite decent impressions. The interface is intuitive and friendly to beginners. The sound of the game, although not equal to commercial productions, successfully conveys the impression of being underwater and well emphasizes the atmosphere of the game.
