Decisive Battles of WWII: Korsun Pocket
This operational wargame lets the player command both German and Soviet troops
in the battle of Korsun Pocket that took place in January 1944. The game is
turn-based, each turn representing 12 hours of real time, with sequential
Russian and German turns.
The objective of the game is to amass more Victory Points than the opponent.
The difference between the sides will in the end decide the level of victory.
To get Victory Points one must destroy enemy units and capture objectives. To
do this, units need to be moved on a tactical map and opposing forces need to
be fought. The game features Play-by-Email for two players. As a bonus an
updated version of the previous game in the series, The Ardennes Offensive, is
also included.
