Decision: Red Daze is an isometric action RPG with a unique blend of survival
and tower defense mechanics.
The Red Daze, a nightmarish phenomenon in which the bacteria becomes airborne
and turns people into mutated monsters, has taken hold of the wasteland known
as the Dust Bowl. This illness has been shaping the world and human history
for millennia. With governments constantly at each other’s throats, it falls
to groups of survivors, soldiers, and scientists to fend off the mutants and
zombies and search for a way to stop the spread of the Red Daze.
You are one of them: a group of survivors saved you after your whole unit was
slaughtered in the Dust Bowl. Now in order to survive, you have to build and
defend safe havens and venture into the Dust Bowl, fighting mutants, zombies,
and other menacing enemies in order to find and recruit more survivors and
increase your forces. Maybe then you’ll find a way to put an end to the Red
Daze. Sometimes, the future of the entire human race rests in one person’s
hands. This time, it rests in yours.
In this life-or-death journey, you will gather a squad of survivors who
specialize in different skills and lead them into the wasteland to find food,
ammo, and a wide variety of formidable weapons and armor that can be used to
defend your settlements. You will never feel safe enough, as danger is always
knocking at the door. Enemies will behave differently in the day/night cycle.
During the night, monsters wake up and hunt for you, their prey. The only
means of survival is to capture new settlements and strengthen them with
turrets and Repellers (a new technology to keep the Daze away).
Feel the adrenaline rush when fighting hordes of horrible zombies, mutants,
and other deadly creatures. Explore a huge world, find and upgrade deadly
weapons, and craft increasingly powerful defense mechanisms to keep your
settlements safe. But above all, survive this horror: the destiny of humanity
lies in your hands.
