We find ourselves in the year 1930. Fame and fortune is foremost in the minds of the expedition crews – the fortune through merciless exploitation of any resources that they’re hoping to find, closely followed by the (doubtful) chance of gaining scientific fame.
A huge storm has driven the expedition of the Hon. Prof. Dr. Flemming far off course – to a chain of islands off the Sumatran coast.
