Dad ‘n Me

## Description

_Dad ‘n Me_ is a side-scrolling fighting game featuring a purple creature
that is dropped off by his dad at a park. In a single level, he needs to beat
up all the other kids in the park (including ninjas, basketball and football
players, and gangster kids), apparently to prove his worth. The graphics are
hand drawn by Dan Paladin and are reminiscent of the art style in games such
as Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers.

The keyboard is used to move around along with two keys for light or heavy
attacks. These can be combined to create combos, hold and throw enemies, rush
and jump, and pick up items such as barrels or lawnmowers to take out
opponents. The life meter can be replenished with health kits, the game keeps
track of the combo rate and when the rage meter is completely full movement
becomes faster and the attacks more fierce.
