Cosmic Cop

Cosmic Cop is a horizontal scrolling 2D space shoot’em up, and part of the
R-Type series. The player controls a space police fighter and fights against
Bydo’s autonomous vehicles. The Gameplay is quite similar to other R-Type
games, but with a total different weapon system – here, the fighter has a
special laser, powerful, but with overheat. The scroll rate is also dependent
on the player’s position, the further right, the faster the game scrolls.
There are five different stages, each with a boss.
