Cooperative Unreal Box Escape is a cooperative online multiplayer Sci-Fi horror survival game, in which up to six players are trying to escape a seemingly never ending complex of metal cubes, spiked with deadly booby traps. Inspired by the 1997 cultural classic movie “Cube”, this game aims to provide players the experience of being a prisoner within the same complex the movie was set in, while preserving it’s look and atmosphere.
This project started in early 2012, with the purpose of learning the use of the Unreal Development Kit and is currently being developed by two students in their barely existent spare time.
