Cooking Quest is a hidden object game with a restaurant theme. As a chef on
a cooking competition, the player has to prepare and serve meals.

In the first part, where the food for the dishes is bought, the player has to
search rooms for objects listed at the left of the screen, within a time
limit. Each room is represented by a screen with several objects. Wrong clicks
deduct time and money from the budget. After each screen is cleared, the
ingredients are offered for sale. The price of the acquired ingredients
reflects their quality and affects the final rating of the dishes.

After collecting all the ingredients, the game switches to another interface
showing a table with an inventory at the top and kitchen utensils at the
bottom. Ingredients can be dragged and combined from the inventory. The
appliances appear on small windows, each with a thermometer beside it. The way
to use each utensil is to click on the window, wait until the raising marker
reach the yellow part of the thermometer, then click on the window again.

After the meal is served, the dish receives a star rating based on skill and
quality of the ingredients.
