This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a young princess (Aurora) who finds herself trapped in a fantasy realm. Players traverse side-scrolling environments, solve puzzles, and engage in turn-based combat. Players use swords and magic spells to defend against fantastical enemies (e.g., giants, ghosts, stone statues); enemies generally cry out and disappear amid puffs of smoke. The game includes some thematic elements within text (e.g., a child's death, a reference to being poisoned); one cutscene depicts a woman dying. A handful of sequences depict drunk characters (e.g., birds drinking from bottles, hiccuping, stumbling); some characters also smoke tobacco pipes.

combat mechanics
art style
poetry!
a little on the easy side
forgettable sidequests
only 2 characters per fights
The obvious first thing to note are the graphics, a watercolor canvas is a perfect fit for a fantasy story told as poetry.
But it was actually the combat mechanics that got me interested the most, a fresh take on JRPG classic i thought the timeline was very simple yet full of depth. Somewhat tricky to explain, but it worked surprisingly well.
Conclusion: A small yet rewarding experience, very uplifting! And despite its pretty colours still offers interesting gameplay mechanics.
Recommended!
Creative art style
Father storyline yet again, cliche
Tedious and difficult battle system
Repetitive storyline and gameplay
I wanted to like this game but it just didn’t hit the spot
