Charnel

Charnel – take an aging academic institute, mixed with the creepy cliches of the early 1900s, add a few wily British professors working late in the night, and you have yourself the perfect recipe for a science experiment gone wrong. Having unleashed a ferocious horror of the darkness, the surviving inhabitants of Charnel University must gather their courage and work together if they intend to survive the night. Charnel is a fast-paced, first-person multiplayer game that plays with the concept of light and darkness as territory and integrates unique horror elements into its gameplay. The human team must stay vigilant and keep the lights in the building switched on if they intend to survive the stealthy attacks of the individual beast roaming the premises. The beast, strong in the darkness but weak in the light, can take advantage of shortcuts found within the buildings to stalk its human prey and knock out their precious light sources.
