CELLOS

Cellos is a school project that’s basically been abandoned. If you would like to see it made properly it can be remade from scratch, until then you can get it here for free.
The basic concept is that you’re a cell fighting for survival and you work to evolve yourself/your race. You play the game any number of times and each time you gain more and more XP to advance your race, allowing you to buy better weapons and increase your basic stats.
