## About This Game
STORY
Decades of failure to achieve the ultimate goal, Philosopher’s Stone, led the
masters at the Order of Mercury, or known by the locals as Castle of
Alchemists, to impatience, and at their lost of virtue, they made a terrible
mistake.
They have started to study heretical arts of sorcery to hasten the Magnum
Opus. Instead of finding the Philosopher’s Stone, they have opened portals to
unknown elemental realms, which poured malicious creatures into our world with
the intent of invasion.
Castle’s defense systems trapped both creatures and the residence of the
Castle inside, masters and apprentices, dead or alive. This solution is though
only temporary, since creatures started to break free from this entrapment. It
is now up to only a handful of apprentices, and the alchemically enhanced
defender of the order, Bellator, to save the castle from the marauders of
elemental realms. Delve into the castle, reclaim it piece by piece, unlocking
new powers, traps, and weapons as you save the survivors and gather the lost
knowledge.
The Game
In this tower defense/top-down action hybrid, play as the Bellator,
alchemically enhanced super soldier of the order, to fight against invaders
that are trapped in the castle. Set your traps and towers, equip powerful
weapons and gears, and reclaim ground piece by piece. Unlock more weapons,
gears and upgrades as you progress and mutate as you level up!
Clear the castle from the invaders, piece by piece => Clash with fire realm
invaders in forges, clean the golems of Earth Realms from mines, progress
through the halls overrun by ice-realm creatures!
A wide variety of enemies, environments and different goals; preventing
invaders from escaping, protecting valuable assets to saving trapped masters
and apprentices; to offer a fresh scenery as you progress through the castle.
Delve into Armamentarium => Decorate yourselves with an amazing arsenal,
powerful armors and a wide variety of equipment ranging from turrets to acid
filled vials. As you claim more ground on the castle, find and unlock new
schematics for crafting new equipment with randomized abilities which expands
on gameplay.
Each piece of equipment can expand on how you play; a helmet with a built in
lens to enhance your view for critical hits, boots that have been powered with
rockets to increase your dodge distance and leave a trail of fire behind you,
a vial-bomb that includes dangerous spores and sulfur mixed with flammable oil
to poison as well as burn the invaders, charged piercing pellets fired from a
steam-powered crank-gun to shred waves of enemies, clockwork companions that
follow you or the enemy and attacking anything in sight and many more.
Keep changing and mutating as you level up! => As the alchemically enhanced
super soldier of the order, Bellator, keep mutating to meet new challenges on
the way as you level up!
Enhance your skin for resistances, increase your muscle mass to carry heavier
weapons and withstand heavy recoils, expand your lung capacity to reach meta-
human stamina.
Be the first example of Mankind-Perfected as Bellator.
Deploy defenses to mow down swarm of enemies => Build defensive towers to
house semi-auto ballistas, revolving cannons or steam powered mounted gatling
guns.
Install traps including deadly spikes, flame pillars, acid showers, rotating-
dart throwers and many more.
As you progress, unlock upgrades and different versions of your defenses: Arm
your ballista bolts with different heads for explosions, change your cannons
to add a spin to cannonballs so they ricochet from the ground extended range
and more damage, coat your spikes with poison that also slows down, shoot jets
of steam instead of fire to make enemies wet as well as dealing heat damage
and more.
Use the synergy of traps and your abilities => If your enemies wear heavy
metal armor, corrode them with acid, or even better, heat the armor itself!
If they are coming in large numbers and coming fast, wet them with showers of
water and freeze them with ammonium-nitrate vials!
Expand the range of your electric turret by planting it in the midst of wet
steam which includes salt minerals! Shoot through it with your charged weapons
to zap multiple enemies at once!
