In Captain Contraband, you play a ship captain trying to smuggle, trade, or pirate their way across the sea, and into legend. The sea is filled with all manner of pirates and vultures waiting to feast on their next meal – and that’s just the ones that are alive. The dead have become a menace of late.

## About This Game
We set out to create the ultimate high seas action rogue-lite. Perma-death
allows us to capture the intensity of smuggling a cargo hold full to the brim
with valuables across the sea, knowing that if the wrong pirate ship crosses
your path, you could lose everything.

If you can just make it to port, and smuggle your ill-gotten goods past
customs, the windfall of coin could be just the thing you need to survive.
