Calcio Championship
In this budget football game built on the framework of Puma Street Soccer, 40
of the best national teams are available to play in either Friendlies, Cup
Tournaments (16 team knockout), Leagues (for a maximum of 14 teams) and
Penalty Shootout. It’s also possible to store the best moments and replay them
later. All teams are unlicensed (no real kits), and players are known by their
shirt numbers, while having different appearance and physical/technical
skills.
With the usual array of moves seen in a football game (passing, lobbing,
shooting on attack and both simple nudges and brutal two-feet sliding tackles
while defending), the player also has the ability to define tactics to get the
most from their players. The usual array of options seen in other games (half
length, difficulty level, referee toughness, golden goals and auto-replay) can
also be found here. Three cameras allow the player to control the action from
the side, back or top down view, with the two first allowing to reverse the
orientation.
